SUBMISSIONS

Writers with an informed opinion or particular expertise and journalists who want to dig deeply should query the editor with their own ideas if they can fit within the tight writing style and editorial focus of the journal. The magazine pays a reasonable word-rate. People engaged in policy development, or advocacy, are also invited to submit material, without remuneration. Please ask the editor for the writers guidelines before submitting your manuscript. Photographers are also encouraged to submit concepts or material for the cover or for features.

The editor is seeking accounts of how policies are changing your community — for the better or worse — and how people are working to change policy for the greater good. Keen reflections on a broader scope of subjects are welcome, if they shed light on social, cultural and environmental tensions in your community or in the region.

Opinions of all persuasions will be considered if they address an issue succinctly and cogently.

Comments, suggestions and letters to the editor are welcome, too.

Original articles in French will be considered for translation and publication in English; on occasion, shorter articles may be published in both languages.
