Coastlands: The Maritimes Policy Review is published quarterly by Finest Point Periodicals Limited. Rachel Brighton is the editor and publisher. The journal is typeset by Andrew Steeves and printed offset under the direction of Gary Dunfield at Gaspereau Press in Kentville, Nova Scotia.

It is published in January, April, July and October. 

For the curious, the images along the top of the Web page were taken from a geological sketch of southwestern Nova Scotia published in 1894 as part of the Geological Survey of Canada. Although the age of the map places it in the public domain, it is used here gratefully with the courtesy of Natural Resources Canada. The black and white photograph of the women at work in a fish plant, with the sign "think" appearing above them, was taken by Jerry Deborst, circa 1960, at Connor Bros. in Freeport, Long Island, off the tip of Digby Neck. It is used here with the gracious permission of the Islands Historical Society.

Migrant workers from Jamaica harvest corn in Kings County, Nova Scotia, September 2009, by Patrick Little - an artist and graduate student of forest hydrology in British Columbia. The image was taken for a group exhibition, From Away, with Heather Cosidetto and Ryan Buckley, whose work appears on page 16 of the October 2009 issue.
